Therapy in Brandon, MS
Compassionate Counseling for Individuals and Families Navigating Anxiety and Life Transitions
Are You Ready For Things to Get Better?
I work with adults, teens, and children struggling with anxiety, OCD, stress, and life transitions. I especially love helping parents, children, and spouses navigate the challenges of remaining supportive while maintaining healthy boundaries with family members during difficult seasons of life. That balance can be difficult to achieve, and sometimes we need someone to talk to about it. Another passion of mine is working with families in ministry who need someone who truly understands the unique challenges that come with that career path.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does therapy cost?
If you have one of the health insurances I am in-network with (Anthem, Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, and UMR), then therapy typically costs only as much as your co-pay. That cost is normally between $15 and $50 per session. Your insurance then covers the rest of the cost. If you have an insurance plan that requires you to meet your deductible before it pays for anything, then the cost will be the amount your insurance company normally pays for professional counseling. Contact Me, and I will be happy to check your insurance benefits for you and tell you how much it will cost. I’ll get back with you in less than 24 hours.
If you don’t have insurance or you have a different insurance than the ones I have listed, please contact me to start a conversation.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Contact Me, and I’ll call you back in less than 24 hours to answer your questions and give you appointment times that are available on my calendar. If I can’t see you for some reason, then I’ll be happy to connect you with a trusted therapist in the Brandon or Jackson area.
What services do you provide?
I help clients struggling with anxiety, OCD, stress, life transitions, and boundaries. I also offer Christian counseling for those who want a faith-based approach to therapy. I offer these services for adults, teens, and children.
In addition, I work with people struggling with depression, help parents navigate challenges raising kids and teens, and support anyone who simply wants guidance and encouragement. If you’re looking for counseling in Brandon or nearby areas, I’d be glad to help.
Where is your office? Do you offer online sessions?
I offer therapy at my office in Brandon, MS at 100 Highpointe Dr., Suite D. I am affiliated with Anxiety & OCD Specialists of Mississippi. Many of my clients come from Madison, Flowood, Jackson, and Canton for in-person counseling.
I also provide secure telehealth sessions throughout Mississippi, serving clients in Starkville, Oxford, Hattiesburg, Meridian, Tupelo, Biloxi, and other cities across the state.
Is counseling confidential?
Confidentiality is incredibly important in counseling. What is said in therapy does not leave the room, which is really important to the overall process. There are a few exceptions where I might have to report something, but those exceptions are very rare. I’ll explain those in detail in our first session together so you feel comfortable.
How many sessions will I need?
Counseling is not one size fits all. Some clients want to come for 2 sessions to process a problem and get an outside perspective, and some clients continue therapy for years. I like to meet once a week in the beginning to adequately address issues and build a relationship, and then I often start seeing clients every 2 to 4 weeks after that to help maintain progress and work on any new issues that arise. I typically recommend starting with at least 6 sessions and then deciding how to move forward.
